Celebrating Our Past, Investing In Our Future

The Heritage Council showcases the value of our nation’s heritage for Irish society, covering everything from architecture and craft to archaeology, folklore, history, and nature.

Here at bigO, we crafted a full-scale campaign for the Heritage Council, spreading their message through both traditional and modern media as they launched their 2023 strategic plan.

For each grant campaign, we tailored a storytelling approach that highlighted real people in the heritage sector. This personalised touch made the Heritage Council’s grants and schemes easy to relate to and understand while catering to their diverse audience.

In our campaign, we covered all the bases. We aired two radio ads, one in Irish and one in English, on national and regional stations. We teamed up with the Farmers Journal and Irish Examiner for native content, and we placed print and digital ads across national and regional radio outlets.

 

We also created 12 video pieces, including two in Irish and an immersive binaural video called “Coming To Your Natural Senses.” Plus, we developed a set of social media assets and ads to keep the engagement going. Finally, bigO was there to support the new brand launch and capture the buzz by filming the event.

By centring real people in our integrated bilingual campaign, we were able to expand our reach across a variety of channels. Our approach allowed us to effectively engage audiences across multiple touch points and tailor our messaging to resonate with diverse audience groups.

Thanks to a surge in grant applications and 5.4 million content impressions, the campaign was a huge success.
